CyberArmy Services and Support

CA-SAS was originally formed from a merger between Internal Command and the former CyberArmy Public Relations. After a long succesfull run it was decommisioned to be replaced by a more focused Public Relations brigade.

After alot of planning and brooding, the Services and Support brigade was commissioned once again on the 6th of January 2008, to house the very succesfull Recruit Guidance Project and numerous Public Relations projects.

CyberArmy Services & Support will manage, operate and conduct oversight of the various tools provided on the CyberArmy's website. Members of SAS, along with many other CyberArmy related functions, handle public and internal relations, forum support, feedback and moderation, as well as providing assistance to new recruits and helping them to settle gradually into the CyberArmy community.

CyberArmy as a community and as an organization is always willing to affiliate with like-minded organizations and IT related websites.

In respect to visitors and our members, we host only one banner on CyberArmy.net . This is used primarily by paying sponsors and to advertise other services we offer. If you are looking to buy banner impressions please contact a SAS Representative more information.

However in certain cases a site may qualify for a banner exchange. If you think you may qualify please e-mail PR@CyberArmy.net and a representative will contact you as soon as possible.

In the case that you do not qualify for a banner exchange, this does not mean we do not welcome you here at CyberArmy! We have an affiliates page set up in order that each of our affiliate organizations and friends may be added to, to show our goodwill in return for a simple link or if you wish a banner.

Whether you are a fellow civil rights organization, or simply have a personal webpage we feel honored to have you by our side!

SAS duties include:

    • Forum Administration & Moderation,
    • Public Relations,
    • Internal Services,
    • Media Services,
    • Recruitment & Recruit guidance.

As working so closely to the CA site would dictate, the most viable skill for members of SAS is trust, high online availability, and good people skills. Prior brigade experience would be a plus.

Members of CA-SAS can be found in the following IRC channels on CAIRC:

  * #ca-sas (SAS main channel)
  * #rgp (Recruit Guidance Project)
  * #moderation (Forum Moderation)
  * #recruiting (Recruitment Forum)

Brigade Color: Blue (#6f7dff)
