About CyberArmy

This will be a short explanation on how to join CyberArmy, i.e. how the registration process works.

Step 1

Go to the Sign Up Page (CA Bootcamp) to start the registration process. You should take a close look at the CyberArmy principles as they outline the basic rules of this community. Proceed to the bottom part of the page titled “Sign Up For CyberArmy Now! - Step 1” after reading the principles. Fill in the nickname you would like to use and a working email address. This address is needed to complete the registration process. Hit “Submit” to complete step 1 of the registration process. You will either receive the message:

• “Nickname or email address already in use.”
• “Someone has just registered with this information. If it was you, please check your email for your confirmation code. If not, try again with another nickname.”
• “Please check your email (email address here) for a confirmation message, and submit the confirmation code you receive below:”

The first meaning that you entered a nickname or email address that is already used by someone else. You will have to choose a different one and try again. The second message means that you (or someone else) already tried to register a nickname from your current IP address within the last 24 hours and that the confirmation code was send to you. Please check your email for further instructions or wait 24 hours if you haven’t received an email and try again. The third message means that a confirmation code was successfully emailed to the address you provided. Please check your email for further instructions. If for whatever reason you do not receive a confirmation e-mail, then you should attempt to re-register under the same nickname in 48 hours. Accounts that have not been confirmed are deleted after 48 hours, allowing you to re-register with the nickname.
