Bans and Appeals

Under some circumstances, you might find yourself banned from a given CyberArmy node.

Bans can occur for a variety of reasons ranging from (but not limited to) repeated violations of the Community Rules or Forum Guidelines, to harassment of other members of the CyberArmy community, or to any other contextual rule. The length of an initial ban may be further increased if a banned individual persists in conducting inappropriate actions (including complaining to an unreasonable extent through mediums such as CA IRC, the Forums, or to the individuals involved in placing the ban).

All bans made by a member of the CyberArmy staff are final. The member of the CyberArmy staff who implemented the ban must have clearly explained the reasoning for placing it to the person who received the ban. Upon receiving a ban from a member of the CyberArmy staff, a banned individual is not permitted to go to any other member of the CyberArmy staff or Executive Staff to request an appeal. For further information on why a ban was implemented, a banned individual can only contact the specific CyberArmy staff member who set the ban. In the case that a ban was implemented automatically by a script, a banned individual should again only contact the person believed to be in charge of the particular node.
